Got WIC?

WIC is a Nutrition Program for Pregnant Women, Non-Breastfeeding Women, Breastfeeding Women, Children under the age of 5 years old and infants. At the time of this original posting, WIC services were FREE for eligible participants. Click above or Call 954-847-3590.

Caretakers of children with disabilities

Coastal Kids Respite provides services to caretakers of children with disabilities. Call 954-943-7638. Services include providing childcare so you can work and get a break, and home facility for weekends. Documentation is needed from your doctor, describing your child’s disability. You may qualify for medicaid waiver.

Call 211 for Families with Disabled Children

The Florida 2-1-1 Network provides benefits and services to families with disabled children. Dial the 3-digit phone number “211” to speak with trained, supportive professionals who can guide you in how to access community information and services every hour and day of the week. 2-1-1. 211 promotes itself as a confidential resource. Simply explain your situation and as for resource guidance.

Teach Your Kids Healthy Habits

Visit the USDA’s website to learn how to “Eat smart. Play Hard.” You’ll find easy ideas on how to prepare healthy foods, live a healthy lifestyle, and teach your children about healthy habits. “Eat healthy and be physically active, together.”

Safe Baby

Safe Baby educates and empowers parents and caregivers with information to keep babies safe from the top three preventable causes of infant death in our community.

FDLRS Child Find

Offers information about free screenings for children (birth – 5 years) who may have difficulty learning, speaking, playing, seeing, walking or hearing.

Cribs for Kids

Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Broward County is a non-profit 501(c)(3) agency dedicated to reducing infant deaths. They provide portable cribs to families who do not otherwise have a safe place for their newborn to sleep. Call 954-765-0550 for more information and to see if you qualify.
