Behind every number is a child in need. 💙 54,000+ Behind every number is a child in need. 💙 54,000+ children in Broward County lack high-speed internet at home. 40% of Florida households below the ALICE Threshold did not receive the advance Child Tax Credit. 144,000+ children were struggling but did not participate in SNAP. ALICE stands for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed. The “ALICE Threshold” measures the bare minimum cost of basic household necessities including housing, child care, food, transportation, health care, and technology. Known as the “Working Poor,” ALICE households fall above the poverty line but below this threshold. We had the privilege of serving families, placing food on tables and speaking hope into hearts. Every bag distributed, every prayer lifted, and every smile shared pointed back to His faithfulness.
